Magnolia hybr. 'Black Tulip'
Magnolia 'Black Tulip' comes from the new generation of Jury hybrids. They are narrow upright, open-branched shrubs with egg-shaped glossy green leaves.
They bloom with large dark wine-purple tulip-like flowers. The flowers are rounder than those of the species.

Magnolia hybr. 'Genie'
Magnolia x 'Genie' is a cross between magnolia soulangeana and magnolia liliiflora. This magnollia has a compact and densely branched habit. With its dark red to purple flowers, it absolutely excels in spring. What is also remarkable is that the color is quite stable. It does not or hardly bleaches due to the bright sunlight. Magnolia sieboldii, also called magnolia oyama. It is a medium to large, deciduous tree with a spreading, upright habit. It has elongated, elliptical to ovate leaves, which are medium green to dark green and have a felty underside. In June and July, this magnolia blooms with fragrant, white flowers with striking carmine-red stamens. The magnolia sieboldii likes a position in full sun or light shade and prefers a not too heavy, acidic to neutral, moist soil. Mahonia eurybracteata 'Soft Caress' is a thornless mahogany shrub and does not resemble the mahogany we are used to.
Here the leaves are soft, narrow and fern-like.
The yellow flowers are wonderfully fragrant, after flowering the blue berries appear.
Plant it in a sheltered spot from the (afternoon) sun.
They are considered hardy to -12°C, but in harsh winters and exposed they usually don't make it. Therefore, place them in a well-sheltered place out of the wind with a winter cover around the plant. Wet soil in winter can be fatal to the plant.
