Magnolia hybr. 'Genie'

Magnolia x 'Genie' is a cross between magnolia soulangeana and magnolia liliiflora. This magnollia has a compact and densely branched habit. With its dark red to purple flowers, it absolutely excels in spring. What is also remarkable is that the color is quite stable. It does not or hardly bleaches due to the bright sunlight.
