Someone who creates and maintains a garden professionally is called a gardener or gardener. Elodea canadensis
Elodea canadensis, called broad waterweed in Dutch, originates from North America. This submerged, evergreen aquatic plant with stems of 60cm and more has an enormous water-purifying capacity and vigor. It quickly forms runners and can form entire mats in a short time. The leaves are oblong, lanceolate, dark green, usually in whorls of 3 on the long stems. Elodea is dioecious, but in our regions we usually only find female plants. The flowers are inconspicuous, greenish white to pinkish, the flowering period runs from May to August. Waterweed likes a place with sufficient sunlight and prefers to grow in a mixture of clay and peat, but it also comes into its own in a sandy soil.

Artemisia dracunculus
Artemisia dracunculus, in Dutch called French tarragon, is a deciduous, herbaceous perennial in our climate with a bushy shape. The decorative, aromatic leaves are linear, smooth-edged and dark green in color. French tarragon blooms in July and August with inconspicuous greenish-yellow, sterile flowers in branched clusters. This plant prefers a position in partial shade or sun and a light, well-drained, not too fertile soil. Artemisia dracunculus is moderately hardy and must be protected in winter with a good mulch layer. It is drought tolerant, tolerates sea wind and air pollution without any problems and is aromatic in all its parts.

Alisma lanceolatum
Alisma lanceolatum, called slender water plantain in Dutch, is a deciduous aquatic plant with an upright, wide-spread habit. The leaves are narrow, lanceolate and blue-green colored. Slender water plantain blooms from June to August with purple-pink flowers in a panicle-shaped inflorescence. Alisma lanceolatum likes a position in full sun and prefers to stand 10 to 30 cm deep with its feet in the water, although it can also temporarily cope with drier conditions. The plant is hardy, tolerates sea wind and is disease resistant.

Campsis summer jazz 'Gold Trumpet'
'Campsis Summer Jazz Fire Trumpet' is a hardy trumpet climber which blooms exuberantly and for longer with plenty of sun. The red-flowered Campsis grows more compact than other varieties from the Summer Jazz series, with a maximum height of 3 meters. The late summer bloomer tends to form a shrub. If you want to let the Campsis climb, it is useful to support it with, for example, a climbing frame at the beginning of its growth. This Campsis is a self-adhesive climbing plant, which means that small adhesive roots are formed from the branches. These suture roots will attach themselves along the wall or fence. Abelia grand. 'Francis Mason'
Abelia grandiflora 'Francis Mason', medium-sized semi-evergreen shrub, broad growing shrub with soft white-pink bell-shaped flowers, light green and yellow, variegated leaves and beautiful orange, red and yellow leaf discoloration in autumn. This abelia is moderately hardy, deserves a sheltered place in sun or partial shade, thrives in all types of soil from weakly acidic to slightly calcareous, does not like soil that is too wet in winter, the flowers are slightly fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. Hydrocotyle sieboldii 'Variegata'
Hydrocotyle sieboldii 'Variegata', in Dutch called pennywort, is a marsh plant with a creeping rhizome that grows (too) exuberantly both in and out of the water. As a landform it is often used as a ground cover, in the water it forms a mat, the shield-shaped, light green leaves with a white margin then float on the water surface. The inflorescence during the summer is rather inconspicuous with white small flowers on thin peduncles. Variegated pennywort likes a position in the sun and does well in any moist to normally dry soil. Hydrocotyle sieboldii 'Variegata' is hardy, tolerates drought, sea wind and air pollution and has little or no problems with pests and diseases.

Artemisia vulgaris
Artemisia vulgaris is an aromatic plant with finely cut leaves.
The taste is strong and bitter and goes well with all fatty dishes, but should not be cooked.
Plant it in the spring and harvest the leaves the following summer.

Celastrus orbiculatus
Celastrus orbiculatus, called tree strangler in Dutch, is a tall, right-winding climbing vine with light green, ovate, serrated and often intertwined leaves. This lovely tree strangler flowers in April and May with yellow-green to cream-coloured, five-lobed flowers. In the case of female plants, if a male pollinator is nearby, an invasion of attractive vermilion red fruits follows in late summer. Myriophyllum crispata, also called featherwort, is a semi-evergreen aquatic plant with a creeping, floating habit. The plant has bright green, feather-shaped, almost needle-like leaves, which are whorled around the stems. The plant is monoecious and flowers in the months of June to August, with very small, white to reddish brown, axillary spikes. Myriophyllum crispata likes a position in full sun or partial shade and a moist to wet soil, it prefers standing or weakly flowing water at a depth between 20 and 60 cm. Chamaemelum nobile 'Treneague' has the Dutch name Loopkamille. Camomile is a low-growing and evergreen perennial. The final height is 5 cm.
