Alisma parviflorum
Alisma parviflora, in Dutch called water plantain, is a deciduous aquatic plant with an upright, widely spread habit. The leaves are spoon-shaped, almost round and have a shiny dark green color. Water plantain blooms from June to August with purple-pink flowers in a panicle-shaped inflorescence. Alisma likes a position in full sun and prefers to stand 10 to 30 cm deep with his feet in the water, although he can also temporarily cope with drier conditions. Hydrocotyle sieboldii 'Variegata'
Hydrocotyle sieboldii 'Variegata', in Dutch called pennywort, is a marsh plant with a creeping rhizome that grows (too) exuberantly both in and out of the water. As a landform it is often used as a ground cover, in the water it forms a mat, the shield-shaped, light green leaves with a white margin then float on the water surface. The inflorescence during the summer is rather inconspicuous with white small flowers on thin peduncles. Variegated pennywort likes a position in the sun and does well in any moist to normally dry soil. Hydrocotyle sieboldii 'Variegata' is hardy, tolerates drought, sea wind and air pollution and has little or no problems with pests and diseases.

Myriophyllum crispata
Myriophyllum crispata, also called featherwort, is a semi-evergreen aquatic plant with a creeping, floating habit. The plant has bright green, feather-shaped, almost needle-like leaves, which are whorled around the stems. The plant is monoecious and flowers in the months of June to August, with very small, white to reddish brown, axillary spikes.
