Cotoneaster suec. 'Coral Beauty'

Cotoneaster x suecicus 'coral beauty' is a hybrid (cross) between c.dammeri and c.conspicuus, it is a small evergreen dwarf medlar, in adulthood it reaches a maximum height of 75 to 100 cm but can grow up to 2 m wide, this cotoneaster has dark green , glossy, leaves that turn bronze-colored in autumn. Flowering follows in May with small creamy white rose-like flowers, followed in autumn by many orange-red berries. This dwarf medlar is hardy, and can be planted in almost any type of soil, it is often used as ground cover, in planting, on slopes and roadsides, tolerates drought, sea breeze and air pollution well.
