Skimmia confusa "Kew Green" is a small, evergreen, male shrub with a compact, globular habit and glossy, lanceolate, mid-green leaves. Already in October, the flower clusters embellish this skimmia to finally bloom in April, May with fragrant, green-yellow flowers. Skimmia confusa "Kew Green" likes a position in partial shade or shade and is not fussy about the type of soil, as long as it is well-drained and rich in humus. The plant is reasonably to hardy, tolerant of sea wind and air pollution, has few problems with diseases or pests and requires little pruning.
