Phlox 'Rosalinde'
Phlox maculata 'Rosalinde' flowers with crimson-pink flower clusters.
Phlox maculata has slimmer stems with narrower leaves compared to P. paniculata and remains slightly lower.
They require well-drained soil, moist and fertile, so give them fertilizer annually, so you also get thicker flowers.
Larger flowers can also be expected if you pinch off the weaker stems in spring.
They do not do as well on calcareous clay soil, so it is better to mix garden peat, compost or sand through the soil.
Cut the stems down to the ground in autumn or spring.
