Satureja montana
Satureja montana, also called winter savory or mountain rock thyme, is an evergreen perennial or semi-shrub with a bushy, upright shape and narrow, almost linear, aromatic dark green leaves. Winter savory blooms from July to September with small purple, lilac-white to lilac-pink flowers, later followed by dark brown seeds. The plant prefers a sunny position and a neutral to calcareous, well-drained, not too fertile soil.
