Alisma parviflora, in Dutch called water plantain, is a deciduous aquatic plant with an upright, widely spread habit. The leaves are spoon-shaped, almost round and have a shiny dark green color. Water plantain blooms from June to August with purple-pink flowers in a panicle-shaped inflorescence. Celastrus orbiculatus
Celastrus orbiculatus, called tree strangler in Dutch, is a tall, right-winding climbing vine with light green, ovate, serrated and often intertwined leaves.
