Cytisus 'Luna'
Cytisus 'luna' syn. C.scoparius 'luna' is a medium-sized deciduous broom with a compact, densely branched growth. It flowers at the end of May and June with light yellow flowers. This broom likes a spot in full sun and prefers to grow in neutral to acidic soil. The Cytisus 'luna' is well wind and sea wind tolerant and can therefore be planted in the coastal region. Pruning is done after flowering if desired. In the fall, olive-green seed pods adorn this broom. The plant is also very resistant to air pollution, can be used as a solitary, accent plant in the garden or in public greenery.
