Cytisus x praecox is a profusely flowering upright shrub with green overhanging twigs and fragrant cream-yellow flowers in spring.
Cytisus x praecox flowers earlier than the other varieties and grows to a height of 120-180cm. They can also be grown on a stem.
The fruits/pods that appear after flowering are poisonous.
