Sempervivum 'Silberkarneol'

Sempervivum 'Silberkarneol' forms a ground covering cushion of purple-red leaf rosettes with a gray haze.

The rosettes are about 5cm high and 15cm with the purple-pink flowers.

After flowering, the mother plant dies but then makes new shoots.

The plant likes to be slightly moist but can withstand long periods of drought because they can store moisture. In winter they should not be too wet.
