Echinacea purp. 'White Swan'

Echinacea purpurea 'White Swan' is a coneflower with a bushy, upright and clump-forming habit and medium green, narrow, ovals and fine-toothed leaves. This coneflower flowers from July to September with beautiful white flowers around an orange-green cone, the petals are pendulous. The flowers are slightly less rich than the purple-red varieties. This echinacea likes a position in full sun or light shade and does well in any well-drained soil, moderately moist to dry soil. The plant is hardy, reasonably drought tolerant, tolerates air pollution and sea wind, attracts numerous butterflies, bees and insects and is virtually free of pests and diseases.
