Hosta sieb. 'Frances Williams'

Hosta sieboldiana 'frances williams' is a large variegated heart lily with a broadly spreading, pol-forming habit. The attractive, heart-shaped blue-green leaves are thick and strongly ribbed and have a broad yellow margin. This hosta blooms in July and August with lilac-white to almost white funnel-shaped flowers on upright flower stems. hosta sieboldiana prefers a position in partial shade or shade. It prefers fertile, well-drained and moist soil. This hosta is very hardy, tolerant of sea wind, tolerates air pollution reasonably well and is generally disease free. Often used in partial shade borders, shade borders and Japanese gardens.
