Iris pumila 'Green Little' is an attractive miniature bearded iris, it is a low-growing, clump-forming and rhizomatous perennial. The evergreen leaves are short, sword-shaped and gray-green colored. This bearded iris blooms in May and June with fragrant white flowers with olive green markings. iris pumila 'Green Little' prefers a position in full sun or partial shade and does well in any well-drained soil type. This miniature iris is very hardy and once established it also tolerates drought well, in addition it tolerates sea breeze and air pollution quite well.
