Miscanthus sin. 'Graziella'

Miscanthus sinensis "Graziella", also called beautiful cane, is an early flowering miscanthus variety. This deciduous beautiful reed has a bushy upright shape, with very narrow, linear, mid-green leaves with a white center stripe, which turn a beautiful copper-red color in autumn. Miscanthus sinensis "Graziella" blooms from September to October, with graceful, silvery-white flower panicles that also provide a beautiful winter silhouette. This beautiful reed likes a sunny position and a well-drained, slightly moist, moderately fertile soil. Miscanthus sinensis "Graziella" is hardy and once established, also drought tolerant. It tolerates air pollution and sea wind and is disease and pest free.
