Equisetum scirpoides
Equisetum scirpoides, in Dutch called dwarf cave pipe, is a low-growing water plant. The plant is characterized by the unbranched, upright, beautiful-looking, green hollow stems with a bamboo-like look and black rings. The habit of the dwarf cave pipe is compact, upright, clump-forming, this plant spreads smoothly in width via rhizome. Equisetum scirpoides likes a sheltered position in full sun, is ph flexible, and does well in any fertile, wet to moist soil, the plant can also be planted under water from 0 to 15 cm.
