Asplenium scolopendrium 'undulatum', called wrinkled tongue fern in Dutch, is a graceful evergreen fern with a clump to funnel-shaped habit. The long dark green leaves are glossy, tongue-shaped, leathery, crested, unsprung and have a wavy margin. The sole fern likes a position in partial shade to shade and a well-drained humus-rich and calcareous, normal to moist soil. Asplenium scolopendrium 'undulatum' is hardy, sea wind and air pollution tolerant and once well established can handle drier periods.
