Fargesia rob. 'Pingwu'
Fargesia robusta 'pingwu' is native to Sichuan province in China, it is an attractive, medium to large sized bamboo with an upright, clump-forming, non-invasive habit. The leaves are small and gracefully colored medium green and stand on dark green culms that stand out in spring because of the beautifully contrasting yellow-white bracts. This bamboo prefers a position in partial shade, shade or full sun and a fresh, well-drained, airy and fertile soil. Fargesia robusta 'pingwu' is hardy, tolerates fairly drought and is disease and vermin free. It is a suitable bamboo to serve as a hedge plant, windbreak or patio plant (container plant).

Acer griseum
Acer griseum, also popularly called paper maple, is a small medium - usually - multi-stemmed maple species, with a beautiful airy crown and funnel-shaped growth. The bloom does not have much ornamental value: green-yellow flowers on downy hairy stems raise the head. The leaves are elliptically roughly serrated and green-red in spring, bronze-coloured with grayish down hairs on the underside, olive-green leaves in summer. Phyllostachys aurea is called golden bamboo or giant bamboo in Dutch. It is a large, evergreen bamboo with a vigorous, columnar habit. The leaves are linear, lanceolate, colored light green.
