Acer griseum
Acer griseum, also popularly called paper maple, is a small medium - usually - multi-stemmed maple species, with a beautiful airy crown and funnel-shaped growth. The bloom does not have much ornamental value: green-yellow flowers on downy hairy stems raise the head. The leaves are elliptically roughly serrated and green-red in spring, bronze-coloured with grayish down hairs on the underside, olive-green leaves in summer. This Acer griseum is dioecious, male and female flowers bloom on separate trees.
