Cotoneaster radicans "Eichholz" is a relatively small evergreen dwarf medlar, in adulthood it reaches a maximum height of 50 cm but can reach a width of 2 m. Acanthus mollis is often called soft acanthus or spiny hogweed in Dutch. It is a semi-evergreen perennial with an upright shape and a clump-forming habit.
