Deschampsia cespitosa 'Tauträger' is one of the most beautiful grasses.
The leaf is narrow, pointed and yellow-green to dark green and grows to a height of 40 cm.
In summer it blooms with airy creamy-white to golden-yellow plumes. They can be used well for dry bouquets.
Prefer to stand in moist and wet soil, sun and partial shade.
Cut back the plant as much as possible in March.

Deschampsia cespitosa in Dutch, called rough smele, is a large, evergreen grass with a sturdy upright growth and pol-forming habit. The dark green leaves are stiff, elongated, leathery and shiny. This smele blooms from June to August with airy, first green-yellow flower panicles, which turn a beautiful golden color as soon as the seed ripens. Deschampsia cespitosa 'goldtau' prefers a position in full sun or partial shade and an acid to neutral, well-permeable soil rich in humus. Hakonechloa macra
Hakonechloa macra is an ornamental grass with an overhanging leaf of different shades of green.The height of Hakonechloa macra is about 30 to 40 cm.
