Hakonechloa macra

Hakonechloa macra is an ornamental grass with an overhanging leaf of different shades of green.The height of Hakonechloa macra is about 30 to 40 cm. Flowering with delicate flower spikes usually takes place in the period from August to September. The position should be slightly shaded. Hakonechloa macra also tolerates a sunny position as long as the soil contains sufficient moisture.Hakonechloa macra is best applied to the front of a perennial or ornamental grass band due to its height. The individual pollen grows slowly but eventually forms a nice continuous border. Hakonechloa macra's fall color is orange.
