Festuca glauca

Festuca glauca, usually called blue fescue in Dutch, is a small evergreen grass with a very compact, almost dome-shaped, pol-forming habit. The leaves are evergreen, very fine and have a decorative blue-gray color. Festuca glauca blooms from June to July with inconspicuous greenish flower spikes of a light pink hue. This plant likes a position in full sun and a well-drained, not too fertile soil. Fescue grass is drought tolerant, tolerates sea wind and air pollution.
