Geranium cin. 'Ballerina'

Geranium cinereum 'Ballerina' is an evergreen (hybrid) cranesbill with a compact, ground-covering habit. The leaves are deeply lobed, slightly cup-shaped and gray-green in all seasons. This geranium blooms profusely from June to August with small lilac pink, dark veined flowers. the plant prefers a position in partial shade or sun, but also in full shade and is satisfied with any well-permeable, not too fertile soil type. To extend the flowering period it is important to regularly remove the dead flowers. Cranesbill is hardy, sea wind tolerant and air pollution resistant. Geraniums are also good bees and butterfly plants.
