Aquilegia vulg. 'Winky Double Blue & White'

Aquilegia vulgaris 'Winky Double Blue & White' are very graceful perennials with double dark blue/white flowers.

The stems, stiff, strongly branched, have 5 to 15 nodded flowers at the end. The foliage is blue-green, round and often divided into two or three lobes.

At 40-45cm tall, it will self-seed almost anywhere, occupying corners shunned by other plants unless you trim the flowers before they set seed.
