Penstemon 'White Bedder'
Penstemon "White Bedder", also called tortoise flower, is a particularly attractive semi-evergreen perennial, with a bushy, clump-forming habit and narrow, lance-shaped, bright green leaves. The plant blooms particularly profusely from June to September, with beautiful, pure white, tubular flowers, with a red calyx and a white throat, which, with some imagination, could be compared to the inflorescence of digitalis (foxglove). Penstemon prefers a position in full sun or partial shade and well-drained, fertile soil.
