Euphorbia martini is a natural cross of e.characias and e.amygdaloides, it is an evergreen perennial with a bushy and clump-forming habit. The plant has narrow, lance-shaped dark, gray-green leaves and abundant yellow-green flowers with purple-red eyes from March to May. This spurge likes a position in full sun and prefers moderately fertile calcareous soil, but also tolerates neutral to slightly acidic soil. Euphorbia martini is hardy, can withstand drought, is sea wind and salt tolerant and tolerates air pollution. In general, this spurge does not suffer from pests or diseases, although rust can occasionally occur.
