Anaphalis triplinervis

Anaphalis triplinervis or Siberian edelweiss is a deciduous perennial with a bushy, compact shape. The leaves are decorative gray-green to silver-gray, lanceolate and hairy on the underside. Anaphalis triplinervis blooms from July to September with silver-white, daisy-like flowers grouped in elegant umbels. It likes a position in full sun or partial shade and feels good in any well-drained soil that is not too wet in winter. Siberian Edelweiis is very hardy, tolerant to sea wind and once established also fairly drought resistant.
