Epimedium youngianum 'Niveum'

Epimedium x youngianum 'niveum' is called elven flower in Dutch and is a small, deciduous, ground covering perennial with a pol-forming habit. The leaves are heart-shaped and spiky-edged, the young leaf is bronze-colored, the summer leaf is medium green, the autumn color is bronze-red. epimedium youngianum 'niveum' flowers in April and May with up to 1.5 cm large, pure white, short spotted flowers. This elven flower likes a position in the shade or partial shade and a well-drained, humus-rich soil. The plant is hardy, fairly drought tolerant, pest free and resistant to many diseases.
