Aster n.b. 'Marie Ballard'

Aster novi belgii "marie ballard" is an autumn aster with a compact upright shape, the leaves are lanceolate, hairy and dark green in color. This aster blooms in September and October with abundant violet-blue daisy-like flowers. It likes a sunny position and fertile, well-drained soil. It is very hardy, attracts numerous butterflies, bees and insects and is also very tolerant of sea breeze and air pollution.
