Miscanthus sinensis "Morning Light" blooms from late September to November, with copper-red flower panicles first, turning creamy-white to silvery-white later in autumn when the seed matures. This beautiful reed likes a sunny position and a well-drained, slightly moist, moderately fertile soil. Miscanthus sinensis "Morning Light" is hardy and once established, also drought tolerant. It tolerates air pollution and sea wind and is disease and pest free.
