Malva mosch. 'Alba'

Malva moschata "Alba", also called musk mallow, is a deciduous perennial with an upright, semi-woody habit. The basal leaves are palmate, lobed, deeply incised and colored gray-green. Mallow flowers from June to August, with pure white, scented, cup-shaped flowers with a diameter of about 5-6 cm. Both the flowers and the bruised leaves give off a musky scent. Malva moschata "Alba" likes a position in full sun and a well-drained, moist soil. The plant is hardy, tolerates sea wind and air pollution.
