Loropetalum chin. 'Black Pearl'

Loropetalum chinense 'Black Pearl' is a broad, upright growing shrub with drooping red flowers.

The oval-round leaves are tinted dark green and purple and remain decorative all year round.

The flowers are deeply fringed purple-red.

Requires a sheltered spot in the sun or partial shade and does very well in a pot on the patio.

During severe winters, overwinter the plant indoors in a cool greenhouse.
