Hypericum moserianum 'Tricolor'

Hypericum moserianum is a small semi-evergreen shrub that blooms from the end of June to September with golden yellow star-shaped flowers with red anthers. This autumn hay variety has variegated oval leaves, is densely branched and has a wide-growing shape, sometimes the branches can hang over slightly. Hypericum moserianum tricolor likes a sunny or semi-shade position and does well in almost any soil, can withstand some drought and can be pruned back radically every year in the spring. This hypericum does not proliferate, is very resistant to disease, can also tolerate some sea wind and is tolerant of air pollution. It attracts bees and butterflies, is fairly hardy and can be used in group plantings as a hedge or ground cover.
