Lonicera jap. 'Red World'

Lonicera japonica "Red World", called Japanese honeysuckle in Dutch, is a semi-evergreen climbing plant with a broad, upright, climbing habit. It flowers from June to August with pleasantly fragrant white/red tubular flowers; followed later in autumn by fleshy, glossy black berries. The leaves are glossy and ovate, pointed and medium green in color. They also have a striking red vein. This lonicera japonica does well in any well-drained humus-rich soil and likes a place in partial shade, when it is in full sun the foot should be in the shade. It is moderate to good hardy, sea wind resistant, air pollution tolerant.
