Lonicera tellmanniana
Lonicera x tellmanniana, called honeysuckle in Dutch, is a perennial, deciduous climber with a right-winding climbing habit. It flowers from May to June with orange-red to copper-coloured, unscented flowers, grouped in terminal racemes. The leaves are smooth-edged, medium green to dark green, oblong oval and with an almost white underside. Parthenocissus tricuspidata "veitchii", also called Virginia creeper, is a self-adhesive, deciduous climbing vine with a vigorous, upright habit and decorative, three-lobed, conical leaves, with a very light green to soft bronze hue in spring, glossy medium green in summer and bright red fall colors. This Virginia creeper flowers from June to July, with inconspicuous greenish-yellow flowers, often hidden under the leaves, followed later in autumn by small, blue-black berries. Parhenocissus tricuspidata "veitchii" likes a position in full sun, but also does well in partial shade. The plant likes a well-drained, humus-rich soil, is very hardy and, once established, also good drought tolerant.
