Lonicera pericl. 'Serotina'

Lonicera periclymenum 'serrotina', is a decorative large deciduous honeysuckle with a narrow upright, climbing habit. This old and popular variety flowers from June to August with large pleasantly fragrant flower heads composed of two-lipped flowers with a red outside and yellow/white inside. the leaves are glossy, blue-green and ovate. This lonicera periclymenum does well in any well-drained soil and likes a sunny or partial shade. it is hardy, sea wind resistant and air pollution tolerant, generally not too bothered by pests or diseases.
