Hydrangea pan. 'Kyushu'
Hydrangea paniculata 'Kyushu' is a rough and wide upright panicle hydrangea. This robust panicle hydrangea blooms from July to September with rather narrow, cone-shaped cream-white flower panicles that bloom in late summer with a pinkish finish. The leaves are narrow ovate, dark green, toothed and gray-green on the underside. This panicle hydrangea likes a position in full sun or filtered sunlight. It also flowers on annual wood and can be pruned back firmly in early spring to maintain a bushy shape. It prefers a slightly acidic moist soil, is particularly hardy, attracts butterflies and bees. Also decorative in autumn and can also be planted on the coast, because it is tolerant of sea wind.
