Garden Plants

A garden is a delimited area of land on which crops are planted or grown. A garden can be utilitarian in nature, a vegetable garden, scientific, a botanical garden, allotment garden or a decorative ornamental garden. Someone who creates and maintains a garden professionally is called a gardener or gardener. A landscaper can design the garden in a particular style, such as a Japanese garden, Chinese garden, English or French garden. Source: Wikipedia

Zantedeschia aethiopica
Zantedeschia aethiopica, in English called white arum, is a high-upright, clump-forming root vegetable. The leaves are basic, fleshy, dark green colored and arrow-shaped, they usually stand on stems 40 to 60 cm long. Not only the foliage attracts attention, Zantedeschia aethiopica blooms from June to September with softly scented, white arum-like flowers, which actually consist of a white flower sheath surrounding a yellow spadix, followed later in the season by striking yellow fruits. White arum likes a position in partial shade or shade and moist to wet, neutral soil. The plant is moderately hardy and a good protective layer with mulch, wood or straw is recommended in winter.

Corylopsis pauciflora
Corylopsis pauciflora is a medium-sized deciduous shrub that grows fairly broadly and steals the show in spring with its pretty pale yellow flowers, which hang from the twigs in clusters of 3 to 4. The beautiful rose-red anthers are also not to be missed. The leaves are more purple-bronze in color when they open, then turn bright green and change to golden-yellow hues again in the fall. Small black fruit nuts appear in late summer. The Corylopsis pauciflora does well in neutral to acidic soil that retains moisture well and is rich in humus. The plant is hardy but needs to be protected against cold winds in the spring (for the flowers).
