Cotinus dummeri 'Grace'

Cotinus dummeri 'Grace' is usually grown as a deciduous shrub and can reach a height of 3 to 5 m when mature. Striking are the oval-shaped leaves that appear wine-red in spring and turn red-blue as summer progresses. The wig tree blooms profusely with pink feathered flower plumes and the whole looks a bit like a wig of small flowers... A place in full sun or partial shade and out of the wind is recommended. A neutral to calcareous soil suffices as a soil type. It is a good bee plant and also air pollution tolerant.
