This compact Veronica austriaca subsp. teucrium 'Royal Blue' forms a carpet of dark green oval leaves from which short but numerous stems bloom in spring, covered with royal blue flowers.
Grows in well-drained, cool soil, even in stony and calcareous soil, in the sun or partial shade. Avoid the hot midday sun.
