Agastache rugosa 'Alabaster'
Agastache rugosa "alabaster", also called Korean mint or licorice plant, is a deciduous perennial with a bushy, upright shape and silver-green oval, roughly serrated leaves that are strongly aromatic. This licorice plant blooms continuously from July to the end of September with white flower spikes on long and upright flower stems, attracts bees and butterflies. This plant likes a position in full sun and does well in any soil type, although it prefers an alkaline soil. This agastache is reasonably to moderately hardy and will also sow spontaneously and produce offspring, but good winter protection is still recommended. The plant is sea wind and air pollution tolerant.
