Campanula pers. 'Alba'

Campanula persicifolia 'alba' is a deciduous perennial with a high-upright, pol-forming habit and elongated, ovoid light green leaves. This bellflower blooms from June to August with abundant pure white bell-shaped flowers grouped in clusters on firmly upright flower stems. This campanula likes a position with filtered sunlight or partial shade and prefers a well-permeable normal to dry soil. The plant is hardy, reasonably to good sea wind tolerant, tolerates air pollution, attracts butterflies, bees and insects, but can suffer from mildew and rust in poor conditions and be attacked by snails.
