Lonicera heckr. 'Goldflame'

Lonicera x heckrottii 'goldflame' is a decorative large deciduous honeysuckle with a narrow upright, climbing habit. It flowers from June to September with showy pink-red to orange-red tubular flowers with a contrasting yellow throat, followed by small red berries later in the fall. The leaves are ovate, young foliage is purple-tinged, later evolving to blue-green. This lonicera does well in any well-drained soil and likes a sunny or partial shade. it is hardy, sea wind resistant and air pollution tolerant and in an airy location (good air circulation) it is not affected by diseases or vermin.
