Syringa vulg. 'Michel Buchner'

Syringa vulgaris "Michel Buchner" is a medium-sized, deciduous lilac with a bushy, wide upright habit. The leaves are deeply heart-shaped, smooth-edged and medium green in color. The double flowers are lilac-pink to lilac-blue, strongly scented and are grouped in long, narrow panicles. This lilac likes a position in full sun and needs a minimum of 5 to 6 hours of sun to bloom profusely. As a soil type, it prefers neutral or calcareous soil. Syringa vulgaris "Michel Buchner" is hardy, tolerates sea wind and air pollution.
