Lilaeopsis brasiliensis

Lilaeopsis brasiliensis is an evergreen water plant originating from South America with the characteristic feature of its beautiful grass-like habit. The leaves are small, grassy, colored light green to medium green. This underwater grass spreads slowly but steadily in width. Lilaeopsis brasiliensis especially needs a sunny or, better, sufficiently bright location, the pH level of the soil may vary from slightly calcareous to acidic, the depth at which lilaeopsis will thrive is highly dependent on the still available light! this water plant is reasonably to hardy, tolerant to sea wind, is resistant to disease and has few problems with vermin. Coniferous grass is air pollution tolerant and has a strong water purifying effect.
