Achillea hybr. 'Coronation Gold'

Achillea "Coronation Gold" (achillea filipendula "coronation gold") is an evergreen yarrow hybrid with a narrow upright shape. The leaves are fern-like, gray-green to silver-green and aromatic. It blooms from June to September with flat golden yellow flower umbels on flower stems up to 1m high. This leaf leaf prefers a position in full sun, in a well-permeable soil. It is very flexible in terms of soil type, but cannot tolerate heavy (wet) clay. Achillea "Coronation Gold" is very hardy, drought tolerant, also tolerates sea wind and air pollution and attracts butterflies and bees.
