Rosa 'Santana'

Rosa 'Santana', a continuous flowering climbing rose with very good second flowering. The flower color is red and grows to about 200 to 300 cm high. Rosa 'Santana' flowers from June to October, Rosa 'Santana' prefers a spot in full sun, but can tolerate a little shade. Slate rose is a better name than the commonly used name climbing rose, why?
