Viburnum burkw. 'Anne Russell'
Viburnum burkwoodii 'Anne Russel' is a particularly popular snowball cultivar, it is a medium-sized deciduous shrub with a bushy, upright form. This English variety flowers profusely in April and May with strongly fragrant white flowers that bud from pink flower buds and are grouped in round racemes of approx. 8 cm. The leaves are glossy, broadly elliptical and slightly toothed, dark green in summer and medium green in spring and red to red-purple in autumn, the underside of the leaf is velvety. Viburnum likes a position in full sun or partial shade and a slightly acidic to neutral soil, it is hardy, needs little pruning, is wind and sea wind tolerant and tolerates air pollution well.

Viburnum davidii
Viburnum davidii, called snowball in Dutch, is a small evergreen shrub with a round upright shape. This low-growing snowball blooms in June and July with fragrant white flowers in flat umbels. The leaves are elliptical and leathery, with three pronounced midribs, the leaf color is dark green in every season.
